about me

me!
i'm doing voluntary mission work in Johannesburg, South Africa with an organization called Paradigm Shift. this Blog will chronicle this journey of giving more of myself to make others' lives better and i hope you'll join me on it. better yet, i hope you'll be inspired to make a small difference wherever you can!

who i am.

i'm a Fulbright Scholar with over 10 years' experience in Community Development. some of my past work includes a UNICEF project on curbing violence among young people in the Caribbean; an HIV/AIDS education project in rural Ghana; and a rehabilitation programme for juvenile detainees in Trinidad, W.I. i'm a true nomad at heart and i've lived and worked in india, china, malaysia, israel, germany the US and the UK.

what really matters.

i'm committed to making a difference in the world, no matter what it takes. most recently i've become so disinterested with traditional ideas of career success and money-making, and i've come to know that - for me - there is no real satisfaction there. so, rather than a quest to attain individual wealth, i've decided to spend my life giving and helping others.

what drives me.

i'm driven by an overwhelming desire to find and follow God, and to explore a true, bare-bones Christianity that isn't consumed with condemning others, but one that's rooted in loving God and loving and serving people. nothing more.

what i really want.

for everyone to be inspired to do something, no matter how small.

join my journey!
this is probably the most meaningful thing i've ever done and i'd really like to share this experience with you. here are some simple ways you can stay in touch:
